TUMOR PADA KANKER KOLOREKTAL DI RSUD PROVINSI
NUSA TENGGARA BARAT

Latar belakang: Kanker kolorektal merupakan salah satu penyebab morbiditas dan
mortalitas tinggi di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, dengan 533 kasus rawat inap dan 11
kematian pada tahun 2022. Penilaian derajat histopatologi dan kedalaman infiltrasi tumor
memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan agresivitas serta prognosis kanker kolorektal.
Namun, penelitian mengenai hubungan antara kedua parameter patologis tersebut masih
terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara derajat
histopatologi dan infiltrasi tumor pada pasien kanker kolorektal di RSUD Provinsi NUSA
Tenggara Barat.
Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan desain crosssectional yang dilaksanakan di RSUD Provinsi NTB. Teknik pengambilan sampel
mengguunakan consecutive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi derajat histopatologi
well, moderately, poorly differentiated, kedalaman infiltrasi tumor dari submukosa hingga
serosa, serta karakteristik demografis. Hubungan antar variabel dianalisis menggunakan uji
Spearman rho.
Hasil: Penelitian ini melibatkan 47 pasien yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi, dengan mayoritas
berjenis kelamin laki-laki (63,8%). Derajat histopatologi paling banyak ditemukan adalah
moderately differentiated (42,6%), diikuti poorly differentiated (31,9%) dan well
differentiated (25,5%). Mayoritas pasien menunjukkan infiltrasi tumor yang telah mencapai
serosa (48,9%). Uji Spearman rho menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan bermakna antara
derajat histopatologi dan infiltrasi tumor (p = 0,049) dengan kekuatan korelasi cukup (r =
0,288). Hubungan bersifat positif, menunjukkan bahwa semakin buruk diferensiasi sel,
semakin dalam infiltrasi tumor.
Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara derajat histopatologi dan infiltrasi
tumor pada kanker kolorektal.

Background: Colorectal cancer is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in
West Nusa Tenggara, with 533 hospitalized cases and 11 deaths reported in 2022.
Histopathological derajat and the depth of tumor infiltration serve as important parameters in
determining the aggressiveness and prognosis of colorectal cancer. However, studies
evaluating the relationship between these two pathological parameters remain limited.
Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the association between histopathological derajat and
tumor infiltration in colorectal cancer patients at West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Hospital.
Methods: This study employed an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional
approach conducted at West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Hospital. Samples were selected using
a consecutive sampling technique. Data collected included histopathological derajat (well,
moderately, poorly differentiated), tumor infiltration depth from submucosa to serosa, and
demographic characteristics. The relationship between variables was analyzed using the
Spearman rho test.
Results: This study involved 47 patients met the inclusion criteria, with a majority being male
(63.8%). The most common histopathological grade was moderately differentiated (42.6%),
followed by poorly differentiated (31.9%) and well differentiated (25.5%). Most patients
exhibited tumor infiltration reaching the serosa (48.9%). Spearman rho analysis showed a
significant association between histopathological derajat and tumor infiltration (p = 0.049),
with a fair correlation strength (r = 0.288). The positive correlation indicates that poorer
differentiation is associated with deeper tumor infiltration.
Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between histopathological derajat and tumor
infiltration in colorectal cancer.
